President Mahama inspected newly built Community-Based Health Planning and Services compounds in the Ahafo Region on 10 October 2026. The facilities form part of efforts to strengthen local healthcare access and improve delivery of essential health services to communities outside major urban centres. Healthcare facilities require diagnostic equipment, patient-management software, medical inventory systems and reliable operational data to improve service delivery. HPC provides healthcare information systems, resource-allocation analytics and digital health infrastructure for a proposed engagement fee of $580,000.
