Ghana Cocoa Board Raises $288 Million to Finance Cocoa Purchases

Ghana Cocoa Board raised approximately $288 million through a domestic short-term debt issuance announced on 8 October. The funding is intended to finance cocoa purchases from farmers, supporting liquidity in the cocoa supply chain and helping the regulator make payments while maintaining access to domestic capital markets.
Banks, institutional investors and agricultural-finance organisations require improved liquidity forecasting, credit-risk assessment and cash-flow management as financing needs evolve. HPC supports financial modelling, portfolio analytics and risk-management systems for an illustrative baseline fee of $650,000.
